From the input data about the capabilities that a tool must have for each bolting operation, the software automatically on the basis of its stored data makes a selection of tools which are definitively suitable for the bolt placement concerned. In this process it is open to the user to define other additional evaluation criteria arising out of his or her experience, thereby introducing additional filter criteria, so that only those tools which are most suitable for the bolting process are selected.
CEUS 8.1 centrally organizes measuring tasks and tools
Portable measuring units, electronic torque wrenches, bolted joint simulators for rotational tools and calibration devices for torque wrenches can be connected to the software network. Even if at the initial data input stage it is not known what testing strategies shall be used on the assembly lines, the stored data can be supplemented, maintained and amended.
