SCHATZ®-cerTEST
Tool testing under simulated conditions
The computer controlled test stand contains electro-magnetic joint simulators for continuous testing of nutrunners (air + dc-electric),battery tools, pulse tools and torque wrenches on site at the assembly line. Nutrunners and pulse tools change their behavior according to the joint hardness. Therefore the test stand simulates the joint hardness of the assembly operation at which the nutrunner or pulse tool will be used.
The joint simulation can be completed very quickly, because it is not necessary to back of a bolt or nut. The electro-magnetic joint simulator immediately releases after the job is done. A run-down takes approx. 3 s. Within this time the test stand measures torque, rotational angle and tool speed (rpm).
Release torque wrenches (click-wrenches) can be tested on the simulators as well. All readings are displayed on the screen and then analyzed in the powerful CEUS 8.1 software.
