SCHATZ is now the only system-house to offer worldwide a spectrum of products for the Q-Business which contains the essential elements software, hardware and service and which extends to the whole production process form screw analysis through process checking to tools testing.
Developments of our business in quality management associated with bolted joints show a rapid progression. In the past our turnover has doubled every 5 years and is heading towards a share of around 20% of the world market by 2005. In this time reinvestment in development, production and service have definitively contributed to the company’s successful growth and made it possible to draw on a motivated and experienced development team as well as high value modern equipment in research, production and quality assurance departments.
With branches in the USA and France, calibration laboratories in Mexico, Great Britain and Taiwan as well as 20 agencies worldwide, SCHATZ has an international base to do justice to the global interests of our customers.
The requirements of our customers for our company experts have led, in addition to our own research and development, to representatives of the company sitting on all relevant and international standard-setting bodies. We are constantly contributing up-to-date experiences to DIN, ISO and VDI committees and also hear of amendments, which affect the processes and design of our measuring devices.
As research and development are crucial for an innovative company, inventions and new features are safeguarded by our own patents. SCHATZ owns several national and international patents. Currently a world patent for a new assembly procedure is in preparation. Three patents alone have been granted in the last five years, which represent fundamental innovations in quality improvement.
